With our 2023 Street Food Fest just a couple months away, we’re excited to see this third annual event grow into a bigger and better fundraiser than ever!

It started back in 2019, before COVID, when we decided fundraisers in stuffy banquet halls or downtown hotels wasn’t very City Heights-style. How could we throw a genuinely fun party, celebrating this community and its many cultures, while still raiding money to support great work in the community?

FOOD!

Folks flock to City Heights to try various cuisines, and our years spent advocating for street food vendors seemed like a perfect way to party with a purpose.

With our placemaking and event space, Tierra Central, and an amazing group of event sponsors and volunteers, Street Food Fest grew exponentially from 2019 to 2022, and we’re excited to see how it grows again this year!
