Careers
First, last, and always is our belief in the community.
Nearly 40 years ago, the community rose up in response to the harm caused by the 15 freeway, and it was out of this activism, resilience, and belief in better that we were born.
As a team, we’re looking for people who will work hard, come ready to listen first, and who love this community.
We are dedicated to ensuring an inclusive and accessible application process for all candidates. If you experience any barriers while applying, please contact our Economic Development Department at economicdevelopment@cityheightscdc.org or 619-584-1535. We are here to assist you and ensure a smooth application experience.
Here are the positions we have available:
Resident Services Coordinator, Metro Villas Apartments
We’re looking for a dedicated Resident Services Coordinator (RSC) to make a meaningful impact in the lives of residents in our affordable housing communities. You’ll also lead efforts to promote civic engagement, manage food distributions and senior meal deliveries, and help identify funding opportunities to enhance our services. If you’re committed to empowering communities and creating lasting change, we’d love to hear from you!
CEPS (Coordinated Eviction Prevention System) Case Manager
The Eviction Prevention (EP) Case Manager supports households at risk of eviction within the County-funded Coordinated Eviction Prevention System (CEPS) program. Using motivational interviewing and trauma-informed care, they assess each household’s needs, create customized support plans, connect clients to essential resources, advocate for their housing rights, and track their progress. The CEPS program aims to prevent unnecessary evictions and displacement, especially following the COVID-19 pandemic, by providing supportive services, tenant education, anti-harassment resources, and facilitating positive communication between renters and landlords.
