Who Knew Your Timing Would Be So Good?!

About a year ago, you helped launch One Month Away, an eviction and homelessness prevention program. When we launched, we had no idea how important this work would become. As COVID-19 began to spread and the lockdown began, many people lost their jobs, lost income, and are struggling to pay their rent.

To date, your generous donations helped us keep over 300 households safely in their homes and off the streets as they weather this pandemic—thank you!!!

The San Diego Foundation and Price Philanthropies donated $100,000 each—INCREDIBLE!

The congregants of Light Church up in Encinitas hosted a Christmas concert and ultimately raised over $50,000 over the past year to prevent evictions!

Wells Fargo contributed another $20,000 and our local Starbucks gave another $2,500!

Then consider the amazing neighbors who gave enough to sponsor a family or even two: Linda Guzzo, Tim and Suzanne Tees, David Wang, and Moyra Byrne all gave over $1,000 to make sure their neighbors were safe!

Friends, your timing was perfect. None of us could have known a global pandemic was coming, but by helping launch One Month Away you ensured over 300 families would have the help they need when they needed it. You helped prevent homelessness. You kept people going, kept them home.
