Our Documentary Film Won Another Award!

Last month, Transportation and Planning staff Randy Torres-Van Vleck and Vianney Ruvalcaba took the train up to Santa Barbara to accept a California American Planning Association (CAAPA) Excellence Award for our film, “Visions to Victory: A People’s History of the SR-15 Freeway.”

This award followed the San Diego APA Chapter Communications Initiative Excellence Award that we received in April. 

We were honored to know that APA continues to recognize the lasting influence of the Visions Project and the power of preserving this history of community planning.
