High End Dim Sum At An Affordable Price—Diamond Palace is Now Open!

“We need spaces where we can get together as a community. A lot of workplaces don’t have headquarters or a main office anymore after COVID, so we hope to meet that need."

That was the opening statement from Toan Tran on why he chose to launch this new business. Toan (pronounced ‘twan’) has a long history in the music, event planning, entertainment business (see our last chat with Toan here). Last week was the soft opening of Toan’s business, Diamond Palace.

“Dim sum was originally a Chinese breakfast, where everything is shared and enjoyed family-style. We hope this space will serve as a similar thing, where people enjoy our party spaces while enjoying food together, family-style.”

The banquet all boasts 350 chairs and can be expanded to fit a lot more. A surround sound system, stage, a dance area, and an enormous 20 foot screen are also available to event-planners.

Toan continues: “I’ve done a lot of event planning, and it’s so much work. You need a venue, food, entertainment, people to set up and tear down, clean up crew, and on and on. You need all that, or you can just come here.”

After enjoying a tasting of differing dim sum all made by Chinese-American staff, Toan outlined his plan for a grand opening this December. Keep your eyes and ears open for an announcement, you’ll want to try the food and consider their space for your next party!
