Happy Cambodian New Year, City Heights!

Over the week, many of our neighbors celebrated Cambodian New Year!

The festivities at Tierra Central were amazing, with food from around the world, live music, dancing, art exhibitions, and even a parade.

When asked why a Cambodian New Year celebration would have Jamaican and other food from around the world, one man smiled and said “Because that’s City Heights, we celebrate each other and all are welcome!”

Thanks to the Economic Development team, event organizers, partners, and the vendors for making this possible, and thanks to everyone who chose to join the celebration!
