San Diego - City Heights welcomes you to a street food festival like no other. This event will feature special vendors from across the county serving up authentic, multicultural cuisines and highly sought-after street foods—the kind you crave when you pass by a paletero or a fresh fruit stand.

What was already a huge community block party—featuring phenomenal local vendors, talented artists, musicians, dancers, incredible street food, and a beer garden—just got even better!

This year, we are excited to introduce Taste of City Heights at Street Food Fest—an exclusive ticketed tasting tour! With a Taste ticket, you’ll get a bite-sized sample from each participating vendor, giving you a delicious journey through the diverse flavors of our community.

Taste Ticket Pricing: Early Bird: $40 (ends April 30th) | General Admission: $50

Vendors will also be selling their full-size menu items separately, but this special tasting experience is only available to Taste ticket holders.

Launched in early 2019, the City Heights Street Food Festival aims to create an engaging, community-centered fundraising event. This initiative is part of City Heights CDC’s ongoing commitment to advocate for a historically underrepresented and marginalized community. By celebrating the entrepreneurial spirit of local street food vendors, the festival fosters community pride and economic development. All proceeds from registration and ticket sales are dedicated to providing essential services such as job assistance, food security, housing, and safer streets, supporting the City Heights community's diverse needs.
