Young Residents Are Benefitting From After School Studies!

Drama sells, but it’s the quiet, faithful work of everyday, hardworking people that holds communities together.

With all the prep happening for our 40th Birthday Party, AKA the Street Food Fest, we’re stopping to acknowledge something sweet: earlier this week, a young Metro Villas resident came into the office to share that her grades had improved. She said, “I am better at mathematics now, and it’s thanks to the after school progam here. Thank you.”

Every day, our Resident Services team works to support residents as dynamically as possible through after school programs, hikes and beach trips, crafts and jewelry making, music lessons, and other activities meant to challenge and energize—thanks to all of our amazing residents, volunteers, and donors who make this possible!
