The Blvd to Beach Community Bike Ride Returns April 8th!

Spring is here! Let's ride our bikes to the beach!

Blvd To Beach: Community Bike Ride is back. Join us Saturday, April 8th for a coastal bike ride, free tacos, and your chance to weigh in on the creation of campsites at the Silver Strand!

Meet at 10:30am at Pepper Park in National City (3299 Tidelands Ave. Ride out at 11am. We'll ride the Bayshore Bikeway to Silver Strand State Beach. At Silver Strand we'll enjoy free tacos on us and host an opportunity for you to influence new, affordable, overnight camping options for Silver Strand. Then we'll ride back to National City.

Be sure to get your bike tuned up beforehand at your local bike shop. We recommend City Heights-based Stay True Cycleworks and Bikes Del Pueblo.

Plan on a beginner/intermediate paced ride. 20 miles round trip, flat route. A few breaks along the way.
