Promotoras Training Commences at the City Heights Library

Good things continue happening in our community!

City Heights CDC, along with our partners, Vecinos de City Heights and Mo Human, began its training with a new cohort of Promotoras in City Heights.

Our organization and partners provide Promotoras a laptop and learning space at the City Heights Library, preparing them with the necessary tools for expanding their health literacy and digital skills. The hope is that Promotoras take what they learn and teach their families and neighbors how to navigate virtual appointments, online communications with physicians and medical offices, and how to access resources, like wireless internet and computers.
