Meet Kyra—Change Agent & New Executive Team Member (Story 19/40)

We’re thrilled to (finally) announce a new addition to our executive team, Kyra Seay!

Kyra is from Chicago and graduated from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine. She holds a Master of Science degree in organizational leadership, bringing over ten years of specialized experience in the design, launch, and management of nonprofit programs. Formally trained in conflict resolution and mediation, Kyra is a conscientious change agent who understands that a healthy, inclusive organizational culture is imperative for building and leading strong teams.  

As Associate Director of City Heights Community Development Corporation, Kyra strives to bring perspective and a voice of clarity that champions and centers racial equity within organizational transformation. When confronted with the inherent challenges that accompany organizational change and growth, Kyra often reflects on the sage words of a former mentor: “There are no ‘bumps in the road’. That is the road.”
