About the Maintenance Assessment District (MAD):
Since 2024, the City Heights Community Development Corporation (City Heights CDC) has overseen the University Avenue Maintenance Assessment District (MAD). City Heights CDC’s MAD team ensures regular maintenance and improvements to the University Avenue corridor to help foster a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming environment for all community members and visitors.
Mission:
City Heights Maintenance Assessment District (MAD) is committed to supporting small businesses, maintaining cleanliness, and creating vibrant and welcoming environments for residents and visitors in the City Heights University corridor. Our MAD team, in partnership with the City Heights Business Improvement District (CHBID), helps maintain landscaping, graffiti removal, and small business support programs.
